| Measure & cut strip to length. Remove saw frays. |
Notch mitred corners with a sharp blade or snips. |
To both ends of the mitre. |
Notched strip should look as shown above. |
Dry fit to check that the corner joints meet. |
If required, score the removable leg as shown above. |
Tear off removable leg if required. |
Mark the strip for fixing screws and pilot drill the strip & wall. |
Wipe the shower/bath ledge using Sealux alcohol wipes. |
Lay silicone into the strip in 400mm stages. |
Spread the silicone into the strip as shown with the spatula. |
Lay silicone bead onto the ledge using a finger as a guide. |
Lay silicone bead onto the wall approx. 15mm above the ledge. |
Rotate strip into position as shown above. |
Screw strip to wall and fill the notch as shown above. |
Apply masking tape to the front edge of the seal and trim off. |
Apply masking tape to the panel edge and trim off. |
Lay a silicone bead on to strip and install panel. |
Fill the joint firmly with silicone and rub up. |
Remove masking tape off the panel and strip. |
Give the silicone a final rub after skinning. |
